Consequences for Inconsequential Things 2021 | 7 Images

This series is a continued investigation of the act of drawing while working with the medium of photography.  The folly of these little sculptures become drawings and then cutouts used to make photograms.  The sculptures are constructed from discarded materials of the everyday.  Each step in the process is an act of “seeing”.  One sees in the discovery of the discarded material, one sees in the process of making an object, one sees in the drawing of the newly made object, one sees in the exposed photogram, and one finally sees in the end piece scanned, manipulated, and printed.
